Our Story

'Klang Royal City Marathon' (KRCM) is an annual running event held exclusively within Klang City. This event was strategically planned to coincide with Klang's recognition as Selangor's fourth city in November 2023. Followed by an objective to commemorate this historical milestone through the city’s vision of ‘ROYAL CITY OF KLANG AND SUSTAINABLE HERITAGE’.

Our Vision

To promote city culture and raise awareness regarding sustainability within the Klang City. This event also encourages meaningful participation with aims to promote health, unity and community spirit among the citizens. Meanwhile, we collaborate with local council and corporates in the city to upkeep the event while spreading the sustainability awareness together.

Aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which promote prosperity, environmental preservation, and social well-being by 2030, our event is dedicated to become a more sustainable run.
